There’s one book that had a significant impact on my way of seeing work and life in general. “The subtle art of not giving a f*ck” by Mark Manson, which in contradiction to the title is not about “not giving a f*ck” but about giving the right f*cks. The one part in particular that I loved is “Do something”, which states that whatever you’re facing, you have to start somewhere, “do something”, and the inspiration, motivation will come to you.

We all faced this situation: you have a task to achieve like writing a text or develop next year’s strategy and you just don’t know where to start. Everything seems blurry, you have ideas but it’s a mess. You cannot bring structure to it and you block. There’s only one solution, push yourself. Write that first sentence, draw this first process, align a few numbers… just do something. The fact that you take action, the fact that you start putting some lines together will bring inspiration. The fact that you formulate things, that you “put pen to paper” will inspire you, additional things will come and sooner than you think you’ll be in your focus zone, planets will align, and your task will be well underway. The only thing it needs is the initial push. Go for it.
